I has been looking for FATHER MICHAEL STRONG described by FATHER MALACHI MARTIN in his book, HOSTAGE to the DEVIL, I wonder if FATHER MICHAEL STRONG did come to teach at YOUR COLLEGE in HONG KONG between 1938 - 1948. The EXORCISM he performed on 9th DECEMBER 1937, in NANJING, and he suffered a stroke during EXORCISM,. I am especially interested in the ‘PURPLE STOLE’ he was wearing then, AMEN. 🗝✝️✝️✝️🗝 EXCELLENT DOCUMENTARY 🗝🙏🙏🙏🗝 BLESSINGS.🗝🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🗝 X 3

Very interesting RUclips post. My late uncle Pádraig (Patrick) O'Flanagan, M.A., from Limerick City in Ireland, taught at Wah Yan College for several years, primarily in the 1960s. Uncle Pádraig was a past pupil of the Jesuit Crescent College in Limerick, and graduated from UCD (University College Dublin) with an M.A.. He loved teaching at Wah Yan. Thanks to the Jesuits and other clergy from Ireland for all their work in Hong Kong and also to the many lay teachers from Ireland, Hong Kong and elsewhere who worked with them.

Thank you all the priests and religious sisters coming from Ireland, Italy etc all over the world to educate us or health care more than I can remember. Very grateful 😇 😇😇👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.

Dr. Deignan was indeed a holy man with a kind heart. 🙏 My brief encounters with him in 1970 have been a big influence in my life. He taught me humility and service to others! He was very nice to me too in my final year at Ricci Hall.

I like the video very much! It's a good summary of your Mama's life after getting married from two persons to a BIG family up today. Although I'm not closed to your Mama, I now know more about her and bet she loved cooking as I saw there were several photos taken while she was at the kitchen. BTW, your Mama always had a big and happy smile :)

Nick, An excellent production

Two years after his passing, this is still my favourite video - the perfect reminiscence of dear Father Deignan. His spirit is kept very much present, comforting, endearing and continues to inspire beyond his life on earth. Thank you, Nick, for this and all your wonderful work in chronicling the work of the Jesuits.

Nick - Thank you for a lovely portrait of Fr. Freddie Deignan - this has been shared with his extended family in Ireland and is much appreciated. My Dad was Fr. Freddies eldest brother from that wonderful family of 13 children in MUllagh in Cavan. We have always been very proud of the work and reputation of Fr. Freddie in Hong Kong in Wah Yan and elsewhere. He goes to his eternal reward and will be fondly remembered by all the family in Ireland and elsewhere. Paul Deignan
